The American Society for Nutrition hosted “Nutrition 2020” Live Online June 1-4. The conference featured 1,800 clinical abstracts and touched 164 countries where over 29,000 took attendance to witness and stream evidenced based research that will have lasting Nutritional global impact.
It has been 18 months since we embarked on our collaborative journey to bring greater awareness and curve the Childhood Anemia epidemic in Guatemala. Our research was presented and viewed in poster format, and we proudly await publication. The Iron replacement program continues in Jocotenango, Guatemala and pending COVID clearance we will continue with our efforts to implement in San Mateo, Guatemala.
Strawberry Jam remains committed with our vision to design a sustainable solution that can be mobilized to any region of the world where Childhood Anemia & malnutrition thwarts growth, learning and life potential.
Harmony and credit must be shared with our extended family, Lucky Iron Fish (LIF), Washington State University (WSU) and most importantly the children of Education for the Children and Escuela de Esperanza. When we joined hands, we joined hearts!
Kindly,
Strawberry Jam Leadership
